In early childhood, Jamil was introduced to God. He was taught to be good, to avoid sin, how to pray, and that God was everywhere—listening, watching, and waiting for us to reach out. Jamil took this introduction to heart. With little to no church indoctrination, he reached out to God regularly, laying the foundation for what would become an extraordinary, deeply personal relationship.

When God revealed to Jamil why He does not intervene when little girls are raped and left for dead, Jamil made a pledge: he would become a force for goodness in the world, using the skills, talents, and gifts God had given him to help prevent such horrors from ever happening. God accepted that pledge.

During the early days of the Internet, Jamil was blessed with multiple technology-based businesses—opportunities that appeared to place him on a path toward extraordinary influence and success. But nefarious forces had other plans. Over more than a decade, betrayal, manipulation, and quiet undermining followed him, unnoticed at first, then impossible to ignore.

At the lowest point of his life—defeated, hopeless, and having shattered his relationship with God—God intervened. Jamil was compelled to tell the story of his life, his failures, his perseverance, and his remarkable relationship with God.

After eight years of reflection and writing, Jamil self-published his story in August 2023. His book explores the events that shaped his life, the evolution of his relationship with God, and the visions of the world God placed before him. It is a story that includes encounters with God in the Utah desert, spiritual battles with evil, and an unflinching commitment to doing the right thing.

Above all, this is a story about faith, responsibility, and choice—about believing that through God, all things are possible.
